Cavaliers agree to deal with Chris Andersen
The Cavaliers have reportedly agreed to sign him after trading center Sasha Kaun and cash to the Philadelphia 76ers. The move created room on the roster for Cleveland to sign center Chris Andersen in a separate deal, sources told ESPN.

Sixers intend to waive Kaun.
The trade exception will now allow space for the Cavs to bring in Center Chris “Birdman” Andersen. Kaun averaged just 0.9 points and 1.0 rebounds last season as a 31-year-old rookie after spending the beginning of his career overseas.
Andersen will get a one-year contract for the veteran’s minimum, the Associated Press learned.
Andersen, a two-time National Basketball Association champion and former teammate of LeBron James, averaged 18.3 minutes, 4.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 20 games (14 starts) with the Memphis Grizzlies last season.

Andersen, whose mutual interest with the Cavs had been rumored for the last several days, averaged 3.9 points per game and 3.6 rebounds per game in 2015-16, splitting time between the Heat and the Grizzlies.
