Cavaliers forward Kevin Love will be shipped to Boston Celtics
There’s no question that Kevin Love has been one of the NBA’s biggest mysteries over the last two seasons – from the questions of if he’s fitting in with the Cleveland Cavaliers to whether or not he’s about to be traded. He may have earned his ticket to stay in Cleveland.for now. Looking at a number of players supposedly in line to be traded, the site quotes sources who indicate that the idea of sending Love elsewhere “is not even remotely a consideration”. Luckily for Love, the Cavs did win it all and that earns Love a free ticket for the time being. Love often has seemed like an imperfect fit playing alongside LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, though, hence the trade chatter that took place basically up until Cleveland defeated Golden State in Game 7 of the Finals. So while Love may not be available for trade now, it depends on how well the Cavs do that will decide if Love is traded or not. It is stated that the Cavaliers will not get anyone better than Love in a trade as he has helped them win many games a year ago. Smith wants a contract deal that is somehow similar to National Basketball Association stars like Jeremy Lin and Timofey Mozgov, knowing that he’s been more valuable than two aforementioned players and has put in a lot of work to become a champion. His value to the team is low and that won’t change because this is Lebron James’s team at the end of the day.

In the wake of some outrageous contracts during the recent free-agency splurge, Love’s remaining four years that will pay him a little over $93 million is likely seen by other teams as manageable.

Now that we’re almost three months removed from Love’s career-defining defensive stop, and our collective serotonin levels have returned to normal, let’s all agree that Kevin Love (still) isn’t a great fit on this team – and most certainly not a great value – regardless of what the Cavs front office says publically.
