Cavs’ Love takes part in shootaround before Game 3 of finals
And the Cavaliers are probably celebrating that. The more time you give the Warriors to set up, the better they will become.

Reports indicated Love was progressing well and is confident he will play.
There have been moments of success – just not enough to make this a series.
Against tremendous odds, the Warriors won three in a row over the Thunder to take the series and advance to The Finals.
Golden state forward Anderson Varejao is back at Quicken Loans Arena on a game night, just in a different uniform. Coach is trying to figure out the lineup that’s going to work the best.
It’s like James is in a Snickers commercial and is “playing like Betty White”. Problem is, James is already averaging close to a triple-double in this series – so he’s already plenty productive.
The Warriors have lost all three Game 3’s this postseason, although Stephen Curry wasn’t available in two of those games.
This team doesn’t win 73 games without Curry.
NBA legend Jerry West is speaking out on behalf of embattled Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James as the team is down two games in the NBA Finals.
The 27-year-old forward was diagnosed with a concussion Sunday night after he was accidentally elbowed in the back of the head by Warriors forward Harrison Barnes as they battled for a rebound in the second quarter. Through the first 16 games of the postseason, Love has canned 44 three-pointers and has five 20-10 games.
If Love can’t go, the Cavaliers might have no choice but to reinvent themselves with their realistic title hopes hanging by a thread.
Coach Tyronn Lue has a few options in place of Love. “They will be playing with a sense of desperation”.
“When they go on their runs, we have to be able to withstand those punches”, Irving said. So if there’s anything we know, it’s that it’s possible.
LeBron James is not Michael Jordan, and apparently he doesn’t appreciate the comparison – even if it’s coming from 11-time champ, Phil Jackson. We’ve got them.’ That’s not our mindset at all. Lebron James has carried 2 franchise’s over the last 13 years. “I’m not anybody else”, said James, appearing in his sixth straight Finals. Both players are capable of going on a hot streak, which would be a refreshing change of pace given how the Cavs played in Oakland. The Cavs won’t know if he can play until before Game 3 on Wednesday.
“They did what they were supposed to do at home”, Irving said. “We understand how important it is to protect home court, so we look forward to the challenge”.
That’s nearly an obligatory sentiment, though.
The Warriors come into Wednesday night shooting 40 percent from 3-point range in these playoffs.

Whatever the case, Lue, like his starting point guard, needs to get going or he could be embarrassed in the finals again. “It’s a trap to think that we’ve figured things out, that we have the ideal formula to beat Cleveland and they have no chance in the series”.
