Cleveland Cavaliers center Timofey Mozgov will miss approximately two weeks with a strained right shoulder, the team announced on Friday.
Cleveland will also be without point guard Mo Williams, whose injury description has been changed from lower right leg soreness to right ankle inflammation, in addition to continued soreness.
It has been a hard start to the season for Mozgov, who is averaging 7.9 points and 4.6 rebounds. He is listed as OUT for tomorrow’s game at The Q against Atlanta and doubtful for Monday’s contest vs. Orlando, also at The Q.
Mozgov subbed out of the game with 2:42 remaining in the second quarter after picking up his second foul.
Timofey Mozgov will miss more than 10 days with injury.
Cavs coach David Blatt was asked if Mozgov and Williams could miss significant time due to their injuries.
Matthew Dellavedova started for Williams against the Bucks and had a career-high 13 assists in 38 minutes.
