CBeebies scandal! Did presenter actually just drop the C-bomb?

A mother was shocked to realise her child was watching a CBeebies show when a presenter appeared to sing a swear word.

The clip, in which Jarvis is merrily seen trundling along on a snazzy scooter, has him singing “you’re a fluttering kite”.

But unfortunately it didn’t sound as though he sang the word kite, it sounded more like he sang a very rude word indeed. Now this is where everyone was left wondering, did he say kite or did he just say c***?

The clip has been viewed more than 2.6million times and shared a staggering 49,000 times.

Later, Lydnsey told the Sun: “At first I thought it was really amusing because it was just a shock, but if my little girl who’s two, starts saying that in public it’s going to make me look really bad.

My sister and my mum were like, “oh my god, I just can’t believe that that is on a child’s programme”.

According to the Daily Mail, CBeebies official page confirmed that Jarvis is definitely saying “kite” in the clip.

Former Blue Peter presenter Katy Hill also waded into the row saying: “I know @realchrisjarvis sails close to the wind (!) but he totally said KITE!”.

“At first I thought it was really amusing because it was just a shock, but if my little girl who’s two, starts saying that in public it’s going to make me look really bad”.

And ItsyBitsyMumsy wrote: “Doesn’t sound like kite to me”. “We make shows for your little ones so it’s always going to be kite”, they stated on their Facebook.

In probably the most unfortunate case of misheard lyrics ever, parents everywhere have been debating whether Cbeebies’ presenter Chris Jarvis just dropped the C-bomb.

People think a CBeebies presenter used the C-word during a song about a kite
