“The Delhi CM broke the news of the raid on the micro-blogging site, tweeting, “‘CBI raids my office”.

“Whatever party is ruling in the centre if it uses CBI against the opponent, how can it be independent?” he asked.
Raids were conducted at 14 other locations too including Kumar’s residence where CBI have claimed to recover foreign currency worth Rs 3 lakh.
Challenging Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s statement in parliament that the CBI did not search Kejriwal’s office, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said this was not true.
The CBI has asserted that it raided the Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Rajender Kumar over corruption charges, and never entered or searched Mr Kejriwal’s office. “It establishes that CM office was raided/CM files were searched”, Ashutosh said. “Item 7-file movement register of last one month”, he said in a series of tweets. Training guns on Jaitley, Ashutosh said the Union Finance Minister should come clean on the alleged irregularities in the DDCA.
CBI claimed to have got essential inputs throughout interrogation of senior bureaucrat Rajendra Kumar who was questioned for third consecutive day at this time in a corruption case. “The committee has submitted its report and a commission of inquiry was to be set up over it, and a file pertaining to it was in my office”, alleged Kejriwal. “CBI raids my office. The allegations against Rajendra Kumar were raised by Ashish Joshi, former member secretary, Delhi Dialogue Commission”, the agency said. Mr Jaitley, who had headed the cricket body for 13 years, said it was AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal’s way of diverting attention from the Central Bureau of Investigation’s probe into the doings of an officer close to him. “Jaitley reacted, “(If) They can tell me what is the specific issue, I can answer it. I can’t answer a vague allegation without any basis”.

In between, he added, some CBI sleuths were taking photos of certain files and documents with their mobile phones and “WhatsApped them to their bosses”.
