Kevin James, Matt LeBlanc and Joel McHale all star in new CBS comedies, and Michael Weatherly, who left “NCIS” in Tuesday’s episode, moves straight into a new drama.

A newly retired police officer (Kevin James) looks forward to spending more quality time with his wife and three kids only to discover he faces much tougher challenges at home than he ever did on the streets.
MacGyver: This is an origin story of the classic series starring Lucas Till and George Eads. It stars Augustus Prew as a Silicon Valley tech mogul who enlists a maverick surgeon, played by Mulroney, to build a hospital that treats rare, medical mysteries. “Undercover Boss”, “The Amazing Race” and “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” will return later in the season.
8 p.m.: “Thursday Night Football”. The expanded night of comedy will continue with Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs in 2 Broke Girls at 9 p.m., paired with Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon in The Odd Couple at 9:30 p.m., creating a two-hour comedy block.
Here are the remainder of the CBS trailers for their upcoming series, as revealed at the upfront presentation in NY today. It will be followed by “The Great Indoors”, “Mom”, and “Life In Pieces”. Social media took notice that six of the network’s eight new shows ordered last week star white male actors. However, the networks schedule begins October 27th, so the “Big Bang Theory” will be in its regular slot at 8 p.m. until that happens.
TUESDAY: 8-9, “NCIS”; 9-10, “Bull”; 10-11, “NCIS: New Orleans”.
Monday: “The Big Bang Theory” at 8, “Kevin Can Wait” at 8:30, “2 Broke Girls” at 9, “The Odd Couple” at 9:30, “Scorpion” at 10. “NCIS: Los Angeles” is moving to 8-9 p.m. Sunday.
“60 Minutes” leads off at 7 p.m. “NCIS: Los Angeles” relocates to 8 p.m., where CBS hopes it can hold onto more of the football audience than female-skewing “Madam Secretary”, which moves to 9 p.m. “Elementary” closes the night at 10.
Wednesday’s schedule remains the same as it did last fall, with Survivor leading off the night, followed by Criminal Minds and the returning Code Black, which was renewed for its second season on May 16, according to TVLine.
On Friday, the rebooted MacGyver will lead off the night in the 8 p.m. timeslot and the returning Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods will round out the night.
SATURDAY: 8-10, Crime drama repeats; 10-11, “48 Hours”.

For midseason, CBS will offer two new dramas: “Training Day”, based on the Denzel Washington film and starring Bill Paxton, and “Doubt”, a legal drama with Katherine Heigl, Steven Pasquale, Dulé Hill and Laverne Cox.
