While sitting down with Dr. Phil, Burke is shown smiling when he talks about his dead sister JonBenet.

He was only 9 when JonBenet was found murdered in the family’s Boulder, Colorado, home.

The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey was previously slated to air as a three-part series on Sept. 18, Sept. 19 and Sept. 25.

“Somebody comes in your room and flashlight looks around”, Dr. Phil questions in the clip. I’m not the anxious type.

“I was scared. I think I didn’t know if there was some bad guy downstairs and my dad was chasing off with a gun”. It’s the lack of curiosity that Dr. Phil says caused the suspicion.

“You, of course, know that critics would say you weren’t curious because you already knew”. Burke said that for years the media followed his family around and created a “chaotic nightmare”. “You didn’t have to check because you knew what happened”, said McGraw. So I was pretty skeptical of any sort of media. I want to honor her memory by doing this interview. “It just made me a private person”, he said.

Despite being cleared by DNA evidence, many people still speculate that JonBenet’s parents or her brother Burke, the only ones in the home that night, could be responsible for the little girl’s death.

The series includes Burke’s interview and never-before-seen videos of Burke’s police interrogation.
