CCleaner 5.22 Released with Full Support for Windows 10 Anniversary Update
Finally, to make things even easier for developers, Microsoft is announcing new Desktop Bridge support from three of the most popular installer technologies: InstallShield, WiX and Advanced Installer.

This is exactly what is happening with the just-released version 5.22, as the CCleaner developing team focused on making their app run smoothly on the recently-introduced Windows 10 Anniversary Update. More importantly, this decision goes in line with how the company has chose to treat the public versions of Windows 10 – with an expiration date.
Some known issues were also documented, including the fact that some integrated Windows 10 apps such as Calculator, Alarms & Clock, and Voice Recorder will no longer function with this build.
Originally launched with Windows 8 back in 2012, the Windows store only served up Microsoft’s then-new universal apps, eschewing the already existing desktop apps and other Windows tools.
