Cech: Arsenal deserved more against West Brom
-Since joining Arsenal in 2012, Olivier Giroud has scored more headed goals than any other player in the Premier League (16).

Arsenal was underwhelming at the Hawthorns despite opening the goal scoring early.
And Fletcher applauded West Brom’s commitment and desire in ensuring they held on for the three points this time. It is a big blow today for us as if the game reflects the result then okay but when you drop points when you have come out of a game and think you have not done the maximum to produce you can not be happy.
And Cech believes that Arsenal were very unlucky to lose after dominating throughout against Tony Pulis’ side. “Sometimes it happens and now it is important to recover and focus on the next game on Tuesday”. “We had 70% possession, scored an own goal, missed a penalty, gave away a goal on a set piece and missed open goal chances – that’s flawless to make the afternoon a nightmare”.
West Brom: Myhill 7; Dawson 7, Olsson 8, Evans 7, Brunt 7; Yacob 7, Fletcher 7, Morrison 7, Sessegnon 7 (Gardiner (61st) 6), McClean 8, Rondon 7 (Berahino (68th) 6).
“Honestly I don’t know (about Coquelin)”.
“I don’t know how serious that is but we will know certainly tomorrow, for Coquelin”.
And the home side went ahead with five minutes remaining in the first half when McClean escaped again on the left and cut the ball back, with the retreating Arteta turning it over the line.
Wenger refused to blame Cazorla for his missed penalty, which came amid confusion, as it initially appeared as though referee Mark Clattenburg had ordered a retake for encroachment. Another game and another couple of players were taken off due to injury while not many would fret about Mikel Arteta getting injured, the sight of Francis Coquelin hobbling off will worry most Arsenal fans. To take over you have to adapt to the players you’ve got and the way we play now suits us.

In terms of their second half performance, Cech added: “I thought when we had the penalty that we would still have a chance to search for the third goal but it was one of those games where it was not going our way”.
