There’s little doubt that the Met Gala (the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala) is the most anticipated fashion event of the year. We will let the pictures do the talking. The top part of the dress was cool, but the bottom was reminiscent of a 13-year-old girl’s dress for a poorly-lit school dance.

A lot of people imagine Oscars as the biggest fashion night, but it’s the Met Gala that brings out the most incredible looks from celebs.

Met Gala chairwoman Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, wearing a white body-hugging gown by Chanel, arrived with her daughter Bee Shaffer, who wore an elegant black gown from Alexander McQueen. It was attractive blue big and long.

The dress, with cut-outs across her torso and legs, flared dramatically to form a peacock-style train.

Taylor Swift continued her foray into edgy pop-punk territory with a short metallic dress and knee-high wrap heels. Kylie opted for a simple hair- do keeping her black bob sleek and straight.

WACKIEST: Lady Gaga forgot her trousers!

Well, she didn’t disappoint. “He made a statement”.

She wrote: “Push through @balmain @makeupbyariel @tokyostylez @jenatkinhair (sic)”. “His eyes were light and his teeth were sparkling”, Ostroff said. She even stated how being Rousteing’s red carpet companion at the 2016 Met Gala has impressed her daughter Kaia Gerber.

As for the “technology” SJP mentions, she broke down the creation of her outfit, actually inspired by the musical Hamilton, in a piece written for T Magazine. Beyonce rocked a skin tight Givenchy latex number.

Zoe came in dressed with a peacock gown made by Dolce & Gabbana.
