Rousey, 28, spent the night in hospital after she was knocked out by Holm after just 59 seconds of the second round of their eagerly awaited bantamweight face off at UFC 193.
One of the greatest upsets in the history of mixed martial arts (MMA) took place on Sunday after Holly Holm destroyed Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia to win the women’s bantamweight title.
And she has faced plenty of reaction on social media after her post ahead of the showdown. “Every grab that she tried to get and clinch on the cage, and I just had help with everything”.
Before the fight, Rousey refused to touch gloves with Holm – and pop superstar Gaga was pleased to see her fall after such tactics. “So I expected her to be aggressive and impose her will on me”, Holm said.
“I have been on the losing side of a fight and wanted to avenge my loss”.
However, she has broken her silence on Instagram by thanking the fans for their support and quashing the rumours that her she was badly injured in the fight.
Rousey was expected to fight on the UFC 200 card in Las Vegas on 9 July next year, but UFC president Dana White admitted that talking about her future was very hard to do after such a comprehensive loss.
Ronda Rousey is “fine” after suffering a knockout defeat in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) ring over the weekend.

“As much as she wants a rematch, she also has told people that she might retire because the scenario of losing was never thought of at any time and she has a lot of other things on her plate to achieve”. “It’s the fight that makes sense”, he added.
