His ex-wife, Angela Bowie, is actually filming Celebrity Big Brother in the United Kingdom right now, and people were concerned she may not be told about David Bowies death.

Fellow housemates try to contain a hysterical Tiffany Pollard after she learned of David Bowie’s death – only to confuse him with fellow housemate David Gest.
Following Tiffany’s meltdown when she mistakenly thought that David Gest had died in the house, Gemma said that she wanted her gift to the star back.
The US reality star began screaming and asked her if she was joking, before running outside to tell the other contestants.
Twitter was soon flooded with furious posts claiming that Celebrity Big Brother was using Bowie’s sad death from cancer aged 69 for entertainment to boost ratings.
As part of a task, Big Brother read out statements said in the house.
He said: “She only wants to come to talk to us now because she’s hungry and wants some chicken”. She was later comforted in the diary room by fellow housemates David Gest and John Partridge.
“You gotta do me a favour, you can’t say the word…” They had one son, Duncan Zowie Haywood Jones.
Tiffany, still unable to control her emotions, shrieked: “David, she just told me that you’re dead!”

Angie and David Bowie divorced in 1980 after a decade of marriage. This makes her a Capricorn… but more interestingly, it means her first full day in the house will also be her birthday (and given her reputation on past reality shows, this means one of the wildest “CBB” parties in the show’s history). They’re gonna have to get me evicted because I’m not just gonna walk off, I’m not a quitter’. I’m not really into fighting, Tiffany is insane!

However, the controversial housemate was left looking like the fool when Gemma revealed that she had already taken them back.
