Celebrity Big Brother audience down half a million viewers
But the twists began even before they’d unpacked…

A new series of Celebrity Big Brother kicked off last night with a brand new batch of famous (and not-so famous) faces becoming housemates for the next few weeks.
Pantomime veteran Biggins won Thursday’s vote, but what he did not realise was that all the other contestants, including former EastEnders star Ricky Norwood, reality star Marnie Simpson and X Factor reject Katie Waissel, were in on the joke.
“In a number of days you will make a number of important decisions”, Big Brother told Christopher.
“You will also be immune from the first eviction, but this must all remain a secret”.
He went on to nominate her with a kiss on the lips, as instructed by Big Brother – not knowing that he was earning her immunity.
Sam is now writing a tell-all book, but who knows what she will reveal whilst in the Celebrity Big Brother house… “You will be able to control nominations… remember this is our little secret”.
The Daily Star today reports that panto dame Christopher once filmed a commercial with fellow CBB housemate – and former Page Three girl – Sam Fox, during which he noted that he could see why men found her “attractive”.
She said: “I don’t think I would, never say never but I don’t think so”. It was for some product and we had to get in bed together.
She said: “I get asked every year and I’ve sometimes been offered fortunes and sometimes I’ve needed it but for me it’s not been worth the price”.

The old double-bluff. Sorry Sam, you probably won’t be getting a nomination from Biggins, so you’ll just have to rely on the public’s, er, good faith to save you.
