Celine Dion shows off impressive rap skills on ‘Ellen’
Celine Dion has belted out some of the biggest ballads of all time but Ellen DeGeneres decided that it was time for something different, making her take on hip-hop tracks. “All you have to do is sing the words”.

Being the HIGHlarious woman she is, Ellen switched things up though and had Celine sing the lyrics to rap and pop songs like Britney Spears’ Work B*tch and Missy Elliott’s Work It! “I want you to keep growing as an artist, so we put some rap songs in the prompter”. “My career’s going to end tonight”, Dion joked before segueing into “Shots” by LMFAO and Lil Jon.
The “Power of Love” singer received applause for each short performance.
On a serious note, Dion also offered an update on her family after the death of her husband. The couple were married for 21 years and are parents of sons René-Charles, 15, and 5-year-old twin sons, Eddy and Nelson.
“It’s part of our life and life has imposed this on him”. Wonderful pieces of luggage.
If someone told you Dion covering Missy Elliot is awesome then you’d understandably be anxious about them but it is actually really something. She finds comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and felt proud of how she prepared her children to live without his presence.
