“You have been as I have been this past year.We’ve been on quite the journey”, Gifford shared.
Dion and Gifford supported each other during the hard conversation. “If I concentrate on what I lost, then I will be in despair”, Gifford explained. They are helping me go through what millions and millions of people are going through every day. I can just give you a little hint: “Pink wrote me a song that I’m freaking out about”. “We have actually been rejoicing as a family since Frank went to be with the Lord.We have peace about it”. “I’m here, the kids are safe-have your passion, have a good time”.
The My Heart Will Go On singer had an emotional moment as she talked about the father to her three children as she said: ‘I have to tell you I feel very strong because our husband gave all of us wonderful luggage. They know that dad is not coming back. “They sense it. They sense that mom is okay”, she added. “Knowing that now he is not suffering anymore – and I look at my children and see him through their eyes”.
“Every day I go out and there are hundreds of people giving me paintings of Rene, letters for me, books to soothe me, products for me to take time for myself, sweets for the kids, colouring books”, she explained.
The 48-year-old singer told Entertainment Weekly magazine: “You can not be more excited than me, I’ll tell you”. “Honestly, they come to me and when I sing, it’s kind of therapeutic”.
