Cent donates $100K to autism foundation after CVG video
The Stephens family, which owns Gerards Wine and Spirits on Bridge Avenue in Point Pleasant Boro, canceled a bottle-signing event that 50 Cent – otherwise known as Curtis Jackson – was supposed to attend on May 13.

The Queens native announced that he’s donating $100,000 to Autism Speaks in response to that viral video of the “Many Men” rapper poking fun at an autistic airport employee.
The rapper was shooting video recently while walking through the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, talking about millennials, according to Time. 50 surpassed that amount tenfold. “There are people that are ignored, mistreated and neglected with disabilities that need our support”.
Hopefully the donation goes beyond a PR stunt, and 50 truly learns something about thinking before he speaks. A family attorney has since told Page Six that the teenager’s family “only wants a honest apology from Mr. Jackson”.
The Candy Shop singer has now donated thousands of dollars to Autism Speaks, which sponsors research into the condition.
Before the donation, 50 Cent issued an apology to the Farrell family. 50 Cent is a spokesperson for the Effen vodka brand.
However, the entrepreneur not only apologized to the family, but he also gave $100,000 to the family’s charity of choice. This donation will support our mission to increase awareness and foster better understanding of the autism spectrum. They are attempting to separate themselves from the rapper’s actions in the following statement.

We appear to have reached the final chapter in the 50 Cent-Andrew Farrell saga. Their disappointment derives from the fact that he used the same media accounts to crack jokes about Farrell.
