50 Cent remains in good spirits and is maintaining his sense of humor despite filing for bankruptcy, at least on television.

The rapper’s biggest unpaid creditor is Sleek Audio, a Florida-based company that won an $18.4 million judgment against Jackson after claiming that he stole its design, The Wrap reported.
According to The Wrap, the rapper/actor owes his creditors exactly $28,478,920.75.
The jury, comprising four women and two women, awarded Leviston $2.5 million in damages for the use of an image of her face without her permission and another $2.5 million for emotional distress.
Todd Williamson/Todd Williamson/Invision/AP 50 Cent and his lawyers filed a bankruptcy petition in federal court on Friday before the Manhattan jury could decide on how much the rapper will have to pay in punitive damages.
50 Cent, or Curtin Jackson to some, recently filed for bankruptcy and it looks like the rapper will have to try a little harder to stay rich! For Jackson, the filing might give him more time to pay his debts and give him a chance to come up with a payment plan, an option he might not have without Chapter 11. But when compared to his $26 million net-worth, it’s just a debtor’s iceberg.
“Walt Disney had filed for bankruptcy before”.
Rapper 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy last May in Connecticut minutes after he was supposed to appear in a Manhattan court.
“That picture was actually taken by Jake Gyllenhaal”, he said, referring to his co-star in the new boxing drama Southpaw.
It probably didn’t help Jackson’s case that he has given several interviews this week making light of the bankruptcy and making it clear that he’s not really in serious financial trouble, aside from the lawsuit. “I gotta be frank with you”.

“You get a bullseye painted on your back when you’re successful, and it’s public to know you’ve become the ideal person to have lawsuits for”, 50 continued when asked further about the filing.
