Cent Now Claims His Wads Of Instagram Cash Are Fakity Fake

According to a court filing, the photos used fake cash and are part of Jackson’s “routine social media marketing activities”.

Although 50 Cent’s money-filled photos on Instagram earn him a lot of likes and comments, life doesn’t seem to be as lavish as he stunts.

The rapper known as 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson III, is in a bit of a legal pickle due to some ill-advised social media posts.

Judge Ann Nevins has ordered the rapper to appear in bankruptcy court Wednesday to explain the Instagram photos. They included ones of him sitting next to piles of cash arranged to spell “broke”, him in a bed with wads of cash and cash stacks in a refrigerator.

That’s right, all of those super creative snapshots flaunting his riches were staged to make himself not look as super broke as he apparently is.

The U.S. trustee’s office is asking Nevins to appoint an examiner to review the rapper’s assets.

A year ago 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy after he was ordered to pay $5m (£3.2m) to a woman who said he posted her sex tape online.

The Hartford Courant reported that 50 Cent filed a statement on Tuesday, March 7th clarifying that the bills seen in those Instagram posts are actually props, and in reality he doesn’t have that money. “They asked me about money I said I ain’t got none, but if you want some m&m’s here ya go”.

The original summons came in February from a judge who said she was “concerned about allegations of nondisclosure or a lack of transparency in the case”.

In the sex tape case, a NY jury awarded $7 million a year ago to Lastonia Leviston, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, after determining Jackson didn’t have her permission when he posted online a sexually explicit video she made with her boyfriend. Jackson is appealing the $17 million verdict and suing his lawyers in the case for $75 million.
