This isn’t the first time we’ve witnessed a manufacturer make a slate with smartphone capabilities, but in the courageous new world of Windows 10 Mobile plucky underdog Alcatel is testing the waters again with the OneTouch Pixi 3 (8).

Other specifications on the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, there is also a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB cards.

At the launch event, the company has announced that the device will be available for purchase via T-Mobile stores in the U.S. in coming weeks.
Some of the draws of the Windows 10 mobile system include the Hey Cortana feature that leaves Microsoft’s digital assistant always-on, so you can ask for the weather or set timers vocally at any time.
Microsoft is bragging a bit about all the new Windows 10 devices that have turned up at CES 2016.
The phone also has a full 2500mAh battery inside, providing 14 hours of talk time and 820 hours of standby time. Though this tablet is powered by the same Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor but comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.

Alcatel OneTouch, a subsidiary of Chinese vendor TCL, is highlighting the phone’s seamless Microsoft Office and Cortana integration. There’s also an 8-megapixel camera on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording. The device will be capable of 4G Cat 4. speeds and will feature Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n bands. “The first Windows 10 phones, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are now available worldwide and off to a great start, with initial demand outstripping our supply”, Microsoft said.
