Oculus briefly sold unfinished “development” headsets back in 2012 and 2014, but since then there’s been no way to get your hands on an Oculus Rift. Additionally, a price point of $600 has been announced. Of course, the two are incredibly different pieces of technology.

The highly anticipated virtual reality device was expected to hit pre-order this week, but the price was previously unknown.
The Rift headset will include built-in headphones and mic and come packaged with a sensor and an Xbox One controller.
Second, the first batch of pre-orders will ship as early as the 28 of March and some purchasers are reporting their ship dates as late at May.
