Obama, the NBA’s most prominent fan, charmed the Warriors as they celebrated a championship season that got the attention of the leader of the free world. Golden State is on pace to break the all-time single-season wins mark of 72 set by the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls, Obama’s favorite team.
“For those of you that watched the game against the Wizards last night, he was – to use a slang phrase – he was “clowning'”.
“Let’s face it, the Warriors are in the middle of a very special two-year run”, Obama continued his praise for the team.
