Chance of thunderstorms; hot temperatures ahead for the Harrisburg area

Temperatures are not likely to get any cooler on Sunday, with an expected high near 93 degrees. It will be breezy this afternoon with winds from the northwest at 5-10 miles per hour.

Saturday, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low around 75. Northwest wind around 6 miles per hour becoming calm in the evening.

On Monday, it will be party sunny with a high around 89 and a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Heat index values as high as 102. High: 88. Winds NE 5-10 miles per hour.

Saturday night – Mostly clear, with a low around 71. West wind 9 to 13 miles per hour.

A slight chance of rain and thunderstorms hangs over Charleston this weekend, but it should be short-lived.

Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 93. The main focus for the showers and storms looks to be north of the Mass Pike, but the chance will continue for all of western MA throughout the evening. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
