Chance The Rapper Performs With Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz On Ellen

Chance, known for his unorthodox approach to music – not signing with a record label and giving his tunes away for free – transformed part of the Ellen set in his debut performance on the show.

Lil Wayne, Chance the Rapper and 2 Chainz put on an absolute – albeit odd – show during their performance of “No Problem” on The Ellen Show Thursday.

The performance wasn’t run of the mill either, it was music video-esque, starting off in a conference room setting, before Chance and friends kick down the door and cause anarchy (anarchy!).

In the performance of his latest single, Chance bursts into the office of “Generic Records” with a team of dancers who take it upon themselves to trash the place, tossing stacks of paper as the record execs sit looking stunned. Wayne also altered the final bar of his verse to reference his current feud with Cash Money boss Birdman, rapping “And if that label try to stop me/I’m gon” let “em rob me/Yeah, right, like Ryan Lochte”, much to Chance’s delight.

DeGeneres said she convinced Chance to go on “Ellen” at President Obama’s 55th birthday party last month at the White House. “I’m really shaking; that was just insane”.
