Channing Tatum and wife Jenna will ‘force feed’ daughter Step Up

Little 3-year-old Everly might be open to dance, but according to Jenna Dewan-Tatum, she wants ZERO parts of the modeling world that Channing and Jenna both explored after acting.

Dewan-Tatum, 35, said: “We keep saying we are going to force-feed Step Up to Everly”.

“In our new house we share a bigger closet than we had, but poor Chan, he has one little row and I have the whole rest of it”, she says. “And then generally when she naps, is when I go do things”. Other than those precious moments, though, the Step Up star has to wait until Everly goes to bed to get on top of her work commitments.

Interestingly, Jenna’s 3 year-old daughter has already been showing her interest in dancing. You have to see where you came from’.

[Everly] came to a photo shoot with me and the photographer took a picture of us outside. She knows she needs to set aside some “me time”, but the stunning brunette often considers herself the very bottom of the priority list.

“I’m hoping I can steal pieces from today’s shoot because I don’t think anyone’s going to want to wear them after I’ve been sweating in them all day long”, she joked following the photo shoot, which had her jumping on a trampoline and leaping on a rooftop.

“I like to say, ‘Once a dancer, always a dancer, ‘” she dishes.

“I’m like, ‘Understood. I hear your words”.

The couple, parents to three-year-old Everly, seem to have passed on their sense of rhythm to their daughter. “I found out recently my very first leotard was Danskin when I was [in] my very first dance class when I was four years old”.

“Most photo shoots are a attractive dress, a natural location and poses”, she jokes of the experience, which had her jumping on a trampoline and pirouetting on a rooftop. “It was nearly like, you’re either a dancer or an actress”. “Because I am a dancer, they were like, ‘We want you to dance and leap and twirl and bring out all your technical dancing from way back in the day.’ I felt really free and had a blast”.

Meanwhile, Jenna and Channing both have their own individual production companies but they are now engaged in a joint production of a scripted “Step Up” series for YouTube Red and a reality dance competition series for NBC.
