Channing Tatum’s ‘Gambit’ movie to reunite Cajun superhero with Bella Donna
Now that Channing Tatum has finally signed on to GAMBIT officially, it’s time for the studio to narrow down their list of female leads for the X-Men spin-off.

“Gambit“, which is scheduled to film from October. 13 through mid-February 2016, will be directed by Rupert Wyatt (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”). She’s been very busy of late, starring in both “The Neon Demon” and “Gods of Egypt“, but the female lead in “Gambit” would unquestionably be her biggest role to date. She later develops powers of her own and becomes head of the Assassin’s Guild. But now there’s another reason for them to be amped up – and her name is Bella Donna Boudreaux.
Whether that means there will be cameos from other X-Men (as is the case with Colossus in Deadpool) remains to be seen, EW can confirm that three actress are being considered for the role of Bella Donna Boudreaux.

While Seydoux has received acclaim for her sexy and vulnerable turn in Blue Is the Warmest Color, Spectre might be the best test case for whether her action chops are up to task. Rebecca Ferguson has been receiving rave reviews for her badass performance in Christopher McQuarrie’s “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation“, and now it looks as though the Swedish actress may find herself taking on her first comic book movie role. Ferguson might be an obvious choice, as Ilsa Faust was exactly that in Rogue Nation. Abbey Lee played The Dag in Fury Road – aka the witchiest of the Wives – and she seems like a very different physical presence than Ferguson, with Seydoux somewhere in between.
