At the first part of the video, it showed Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) asking, “Father, why do I still feel guilty?” to which the priest answered, “The guilt means your work is not yet finished”.

Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood.

In a prior interview with Entertainment Weekly, Doug Petrie, “Daredevil” season two showrunner, shared his thoughts on the inclusion of The Punisher on the upcoming episodes and said that viewers are sure to root for Bernthal’s character. The showrunners previously described this season as “Daredevil vs Punisher“, and the early footage and buzz indicates that Matt will struggle with the notion that Punisher is cleaning up the streets in a more permanent (albeit more controversial) way. Played by Elodie Yung, the seductive Elektra was shown sitting on the couch in the dark waiting for Matt to come home. If the arrival of The Punisher in the trailer isn’t enough to get Daredevil fans excited, the end of the clip introduced another new character to the show: Elektra.
