Spencer Ware led the Chiefs at running back this afternoon, impressing in the absence of the injured Jamaal Charles. “You’ve got to give them credit, they had an awesome fourth quarter and we didn’t do anything to counter”. Only Ware was able to consistently generate offense, with almost 200 yards and a score.
As Smith pointed out in his article, the Chargers could choose to designate Allen as the player they return from IR, but head coach Mike McCoy has confirmed the injury is season-ending.
Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has been carted off the field late in the second quarter of their game against the Chiefs with what appears to be a serious right knee injury.
