Charges filed against Trump Tower climber Stephen Rogata

Some dumb-ass made a decision to climb up Trump Tower in NY, using suction cups before being yanked in by police officers … what a dick.

He ended the video by showing support toward Trump’s presidential campaign.

Police have also found a spiral notebook filled with handwritten notes referencing a YouTube video titled “Message to Mr. Trump (why I climbed your tower)”.

The teenager was identified as 19-year-old Stephen Rogata, of Great Falls, Virginia.

The video, posted to YouTube, shows a man who looks like the climber talking about why he planned to climb Trump Tower. “I’m an independent researcher seeking a private audience with you to discuss an important matter”, he said.

A man spent three hours scaling Trump Tower, the NY home and headquarters of the Republican nominee for US President Donald Trump, before police captured him through an open window.

Trump, who was on his presidential campaign tour in Virginia, wasn’t there to see the spectacle. Trump also lives there, though he was away Wednesday. It is unclear if Rogata is his legal name.

Eventually two officers leaned out of a 21st floor window and yanked him inside, head first.

Charges for Rogota are pending, but the NYPD said they could come Thursday.

NY cops, some outfitted with rappelling gear, snatched the man moments after he ascended to a tight spot near a large window removed by police. “Believe me, if my objective was not significant, I would not risk my life pursuing it”.

Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization, called it “a ridiculous and unsafe stunt”.

Witnesses say the climber gained access to the tower via the lower level roof garden, which is accessible to the public, and then began climbing the all-glass facade using a series of suction cups and ropes.

The entire spectacle was watched by thousands online as passersby recorded videos of the climb and posted it on social media platforms. “I’m 100% certain the NYPD had better things to do”. Detective Christopher Williams, standing at one of the windows opened by police, said when Rogata dismissed the warning he waited for the opportune moment to pull the teen into the building.
