Charles Barkley guarantees Knicks will make playoffs
Barkley, the TNT analyst, spoke on a conference call Monday as part of an “Inside the NBA” preview of the upcoming 2015-16 season with Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and Ernie Johnson.

“They can’t beat Cleveland, Chicago or Milwaukee”.
“I think (team president) Phil Jackson’s done a good job getting quality National Basketball Association players”, Barkley said.
Finally Barkley capped it all of by saying: “I’m picking the Knicks to make the playoffs”. “The Knicks are one of my sleeper teams”. It will be a dogfight out West, man…. They will battle with Miami for the fourth spot.
As far as the Sparks are concerned, Los Angeles’ WNBA team had a winning percentage of 41.2, miles better than the Lakers’ 25.6. “They are scary, but it all depends on Kevin Durant’s foot”.
The Lakers should start turning things around this year though. David West, added to that (Spurs) team, allows Tim Duncan to miss numerous games and not really be missed.
What happened between then and now to cause Barkley to change his tune? This is bound to make a few Lakers fans upset or even more dismissive of Barkley than they already are. I hear a lot of the Golden State Warriors are feeling disrespected because a lot of people feel that their championship was an “if” championship.

The Lakers should be better this year than the last.
