Charles Barkley: Trump Trying To ‘Divide And Conquer’
During TNT’s National Basketball Association coverage last night, Charles Barkley took CNN to the woodshed for its coverage of the 2016 primaries. Barkley first talked about Donald Trump calling his stance on Hispanics “insulting” and on Muslims “even more insulting”.

Barkley said he loves CNN, and these comments could qualify as the tough variety, but that doesn’t mean his bosses will be OK with it.
The 52-year-old said that there is a Republican in the field he’d consider voting for, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, which served as the lead-in for his blasting of CNN.
Only Barkley can really opine in such a way and be given that kind of forum to talk about anything relating to sports and culture. “They have followed ratings and sound bites this entire cycle. And it’s sad and frustrating that our company has sold their sold their soul for ratings”.
Barkley was asked to speak on politics – a subject that is not his forte whatsoever – to promote next week’s Republican debate, which will be broadcast on CNN, a network that also falls under the umbrella of Barkley’s parent company, Turner Broadcasting. To lump all the Hispanics together, that was insulting. But it’s safe to say that Turner had no idea that Barkley would reprove the station on national TV.
Barkley had no problem talking at length about CNN’s coverage of the debate and the Presidential election process as a whole, but what he had to say wasn’t at all positive. “They’ve become like Fox News”. I feel bad. Just to insult people.
But others do, and they promptly shared their thoughts, such as they are, in 140 characters or less, which fewer than 140 characters read.

“[But] to try and divide and conquer – which is what the Republicans always try to do – is just sad”, Barkley added. Your life sucks because of you, not the Hispanics.
