Today’s FSU Florida State Seminoles vs Charleston Southern college football game has a start time schedule of 12:30pm eastern time and will air on TV channel ACC ESPN Network.

Florida State’s chance to give reps to some of the younger players came at ideal time, with the depth players showing they deserve more action ahead of a hard stretch of the Seminoles’ season that kicks off with a tough game at No. 10 Louisville Saturday.

Senior running back Ben Robinson posted: “So basically about 30+ players on my team including me have been suspended for using book money to buy other things in the book store like pencils, binders, and electronics, out of our school bookstore”. The players said campus bookstore employees suggested they spend the leftover money there “because it disappears if we don’t”.

Senior wide receiver Colton Korn lashed out at the school on Facebook as well for allegedly failing to communicate the rule that prohibited players from spending the money on other supplies. “I think we’ll be fine”.

Coach Jimbo Fisher was not pleased with the lost practice time, particularly with games against Atlantic Coast Conference foes No. 13 Louisville and North Carolina in two of the next three weeks.

Florida State safety Derwin James suffered a left knee injury in the third quarter of the No. 3 Seminoles’ 52-8 win against Charleston Southern and did not return.

School officials said the suspensions are for violating NCAA rules involving financial aid. Head coach Jamey Chadwell will serve a suspension later in the season while an assistant coach will miss the Florida State game, the station reported.

‘Now the school and the NCAA are saying that it is against the rules. Other items can not be covered by that financial aid.

CSU first announced an internal review of the NCAA violations last week.

Charleston Southern is going to have a rough time this weekend.

NOTES: Florida State K Ricky Aguayo, who broke the school record last week with six field goals against Ole Miss, drilled a 46-yarder in the fourth quarter in his only try to cap the scoring in Saturday’s win.

Offensive lineman Frank Cirone said the entire offensive line was among those suspended. Fourth-year head coach Jamey Chadwell also is suspended one game for the incident and will sit out against Albany State on October 8.

“I’m bewildered at the at the lack of respect the university is showing us athletes and student body as a whole”, Korn wrote on Facebook.
