Charlie Cox reveals timeline overlap with ‘Daredevil’ Season 2
Rosario Dawson also spoke about her rather mysterious relationship with the Marvel shows. Jessica Jones helped jump start the upcoming Luke Cage series, Daredevil introduced Hell’s Kitchen to the brutal justice of The Punisher who quickly earned his own series, the upcoming series Iron Fist will help set up The Defenders which will bring together all the NY heroes, and Rosario Dawson is always on call to drop by any Marvel property.

Joining Matt Murdoch/Daredevil in “The Defenders” are Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Danny Rand as the Iron Fist. That happened with the second season [of “Daredevil”]. It all centers around Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple. “Apparently it had nothing to do with our world, but it’s part of Luke Cage”, he said.
He continued, “The timeline had been thought through and worked out so that whatever’s going on in Luke Cage, which we don’t know, I don’t know, somehow at some point during that show, the next day she’s in the hospital talking to me”.
Cox’s words are a bit puzzling, given that no such references to Claire’s eyebrow appear in any scenes we could find (nor does it even appear wounded), while Dawson’s last Season 2 scenes see her leaving her job at the Hell’s Kitchen hospital, presumably toward whatever events lead her to reunite with Luke in the first place. Does this mean that Luke Cage might pick up right after the title character wakes up at the end of Jessica Jones, pushing all three shows into an even tighter timeline? Really, she’s the thing that connects all these shows together. So I have no idea – I’m just sort of working and have this question mark for the entire year, which is when are they gonna call me?
In season 2, Matt Murdock began pushing away those closest to him, abandoning his own life and becoming more devil than man. Matt tried to go solo, but Elektra, his psycho ex-girlfriend and current assassin, and Frank Castles, the new psycho vigilante in his life, kept popping up in his life.
Also starring Frank Whaley as Rafael Scarfe, Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth, Theo Rossi as Shades and Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard, Luke Cage is earmarked for premiere on September 30.

I’m excited to see what Claire will get up to in Luke Cage. Do you have any speculation?
