Charlie Hebdo Cartoonist Calls For More “Music! Kisses!” Following Paris Attacks

“Why did they attack Paris now?”

For centuries, those who love death have sought to make us lose our love of life..

An attempted attack on an Amsterdam-to-Paris train was foiled in August, when a gunman was overpowered by a group of passengers that included three Americans.

An AFP journalist at the scene said two explosions were heard.

Prosecutors said the coordinated attacks at six spots packed with tourists were carried out by three teams of gunmen and suicide bombers. “And Paris remains and calls them shit”.

The challenge now is for French leaders to continue to send the right signal, as they did after the Charlie Hebdo attack, to prevent the social breakdown that these terrorists behind this latest onslaught must be trying to provoke.

The first Mumbai attack was at Leopold Café at 21:30hrs.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks, although jihadists on Twitter immediately praised the attackers and criticized France’s military operations against the Islamic State (IS) militants, while anti-terrorism experts and media reports were pointing to IS and al-Qaeda as potential perpetrators.

French President Francois Hollande said Friday’s events were “an act of war”, and blamed ISIL for planning and coordinating the attacks from overseas. This constitutes a third of Europeans within Isis.

– U.S. President Barack Obama pledged solidarity with France, saying, “We’ve seen an outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians”.

But the tactics of the assailants seem to fit “urban warfare” style of attack employed in the Charlie Hebdo shooting in January, and the weapons reportedly used by the assailants, AK-47s, match those used in that incident as well as numerous other shooting incidents in France in recent years.

It’s possible, he said, that French security was overwhelmed – a number of French-born Muslims have gone overseas to fight for ISIS and, as anti-terror efforts at home have ramped up, the country’s prisons “have become centres of radicalization”.

In Paris, terrorists had used AK-47, grenades and bombs like the 26/11 attackers. IS have been losing territory inside of Syria and to a few extent in Iraq. While the mayhem continued and there were dead and injured all around on the fateful Friday night, there was a glimpse of humanity that said come what may, we are going to let life have its chance!
