The Two and a Half Men star’s father, Martin Sheen, who has always been vocal about Charlie’s troubles, is now opening up about his son’s HIV status.

Charlie admitted on Tuesday that he was bracing himself for possible legal battles and revealed he’d paid extortionists approximately $10 million to keep quiet about his condition since being diagnosed in 2011.
Bruce chimed in: “I mean, if I had met him on one night, and we had chose to engage in this, I’d say, ‘That’s Russian Roulette”.
However, his ex-girlfriend Bree Olson is claiming that the thespian didn’t tell her his diagnosis even though he learned about it when she was still living with him.
He confessed his “karmic confusion, shame and anger” got the best of him, and he descended into the depths of depression, substance abuse and “fathomless drinking”.
After struggling with substance abuse and admittedly soliciting prostitutes, Charlie Sheen spoke with Matt Lauer on NBC’s The Today Show to announce he is HIV positive.
As reported by The Washington Post, Charlie Sheen confirmed the ongoing rumors that is spreading days before his official announcement. “I’ve told enough that I trusted to be in the position and the situation that I’m in today”.
“It was the most hard thing he’d ever done”, Martin Sheen said, according to the Naples Daily News.
Olson said Sheen wanted to use lambskin condoms, which are less effective at protecting against sexually transmitted diseases.
She said: “Charlie, when I married him, he wasn’t a bad boy”.
“This literally rocked my world down to its foundation so I was really anxious about how they would take it”, he said. “I think I released myself from this prison today”, he said.
“The reality is we, had known each other for many months before we engaged in that and we were a couple, I was in love with him”.

He does not have AIDS, and he is doing well under treatment, he also said. She previously addressed the rumours surrounding Sheen’s HIV-positive diagnosis in a post on her website, writing, “There are speculations circling that one of my ex-boyfriends from years ago may have contracted the HIV virus”.
