Sheen disclosed his HIV-positive status on Tuesday after weeks of speculation over his sexual health.

In the TV interview Sheen said it was “impossible” that he would have passed HIV on to anyone else. His doctor confirmed it is “completely true” he had an undetectable version of the virus in the blood.

The 50-year-old actor -who revealed this week that he is HIV-positive – reportedly splashed out $1,629,507 on sex workers in 2013, according to financial records for his production company 9 Step which were obtained by the National Enquirer.

However, it is alleged the actor could face multiple lawsuits.

He said: “I was so depressed by the condition that I was in, that I was doing a lot of drugs, I was drinking way too much, I was making really bad decisions – that part I own 100 percent”.

Sheen maintains he has been living with the secret for four years, and hinted that his rant which led to his eventually being fired from Two and a Half Men was something that occurred as a direct result of his reaction to the diagnosis.

“It started on what was series of constant headaches, insane migraines and sweating the bed completely drenched two, three nights in a row”. I was eventually hospitalised. “And so basically I think my advice to her was, ‘Don’t do it, but the risk is minuscule.’ And she elected to then go forward because she felt so close and wanted that level of intimacy'”. I thought it was over. “I am very aware that HIV is not spread through kissing, but I also believe that if an actress has to disclose all of her business before kissing a male costar, that actor should be required to disclose something as major as an HIV infection too”. “Its a turning point in one’s life”.
