The X Factor final takes place this weekend and the celebrities duetting with the contestants have been revealed.

Olly Murs told the finalists: “Just think of it like your first audition, that you’re out there to impress us for the first time again”.

One Direction, who were formed on the show in 2010, will return to perform track Infinity from their new album Made in the AM, their last before the band take a break from March 2016 onwards. It’s been great. I believe he’s going to have an incredible career’. First we found out that Simon Cowell’s house was burgled, now we discover Rita Ora has suffered the same fate.

Current favourite, Louisa, will sing Christina Aguilera’s Fighter and I Believe I Can Fly by R Kelly.

Competition favourite Louisa, who is mentored by Rita Ora, is now on “vocal rest” after damaging her vocal chords, so fingers crossed for her for tonight’s performance. “Vocally it was the best she’s sounded, the best that she looked and I thought that was the moment that she could be a victor”. “We just let it got there”.

The X Factor final airs on ITV1 at 8pm tonight and will be followed on Sunday by the results show, which will feature musical performances from the likes of last year’s winner Ben Haenow and 2006 victor Leona Lewis.

It has also been suggested that dance duo Reggie N Bollie may perform with 90s garage star Craig David, although some are still holding out for an appearance by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini who, as their mentor, danced with the boys on a previous episode upsetting some of the viewing public who deemed the action inappropriate. “We hope so. We love them”, said Perrie. “Cheryl has changed our lives forever”, they said. Reggie N Bollie acknowledged that they owed everything to their mentor.
