Actor Emraan Hashmi is now busy shooting for his upcoming film Azhar, where the actor plays the role of the famous cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. They shot this image as Emraan wanted to surprise the former cricketer with this still since it is his birthday today. Azhar is directed by Tony D’Souza and this film mainly focuses Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri, Gautam Gulati and Huma Qureshi in lead roles.

Bollywood romantic hero Emraan Hashmi has finally released the Azhar First Look which is a much-awaited film of this year. The magic of Emraan’s voice backs the trailer, without giving a visual glimpse of the actor, whose look as Azhar was earlier revealed via a poster of the film. The actor took out this picture inspired from Azhar’s early days when he debuted as a test cricketer.
In the teaser, The Dirty Picture actor is seen walking out of the pavilion amid a cheering crowd.

Interestingly, Azharuddin was one of India’s most prolific players and captained the National team during the 1990’s. “Azhar” will hit the screens on May 13.
