She’s also pretty stoked on the idea of riding out in a hearse to fight ghosts, in one of many, many nods to the original movie (that you can see just in this trailer, to say nothing of the whole movie).

The confusion that followed among those casually interested in the movie made me realize that creating this reboot with no ties to the original Ghostbusters universe may be a mistake. They all felt relieved when fans requested for a re-showing of the “Ghostbusters 3” trailer. On the eve of the trailer’s debut, Feig confirmed once again that the movie is a reboot, not a story 30 years after the original films. I’m a verb. I’m not a miserable, neck-rolling, stereotype in civil service I love my job and I enjoy engaging people with information infused with humor.
For now, the trailer looks good, and that is all we can expect for now. I can’t think of any other time we’ve seen it, and it’s certainly not a standard guild-mandated credits block.

All i know is that credit block speaks volumes about how important it is that Ivan Reitman feel well-tended during this process. Ernie Hudson, from the original movie, had expressed frustration with the fact that the final script did not give his character enough to do, and now, his successor seems to be sidelined.
