2K are celebrating the launch of the latest iteration of NBA 2K, the top-rated and top-selling NBA video game simulation series*, NBA 2K17 in Trafalgar Square, London on Friday 16 September.

With the NBA Season right around the corner, we’re all hyped to get behind the controller and do some battle in NBA 2K17. Activities will be taking place throughout the day including some of the best dunkers in the world, Dunk Elite, who will be showcasing their balling and high-flying skills, as well as giving spectators the opportunity to get involved on the court. The game will be out later this week if you pre-ordered and next week for everyone else.

GameStop will follow suit and open on the September 15 as well. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are also already available in retail stores. The title is now available on Steam through the Steam Early Access program.

To start off the game, gamers can indulge themselves in the prelude mini-campaign where the main character will play for a college team of their choosing. After completing the mini-campaign, the main character can move on to the “My Career” mode which, according to The BitBag, contains a new storyline that guides gamers into creating a partnership between their main character and Michael Jordan’s character that shall end up dominating the whole National Basketball Association league.
