Chelsea beats Sunderland 3-1, Man U loses in Premier League

Despondent Chelsea fans expressed dismay and anger at the departure of the club’s most successful manager Jose Mourinho as they arrived at Stamford Bridge on Saturday for the first match since he was sacked.

The experienced Dutch coach, 69, watched Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday, having resumed a role he previously performed in 2009, when he led the London club to glory in the FA Cup.

Chelsea captain John Terry has claimed the club’s players are responsible for the sacking and will take responsibility for their performances and turn things around for the club, during a pre-match interview at Stamford Bridge. “Some of the football was excellent, one and two touch…it dropped off slightly in the second half but we were delighted”.

“There was a lot of pressure on us before the game, but we’ve brought that on ourselves”.

The tag of the “Interim One” was first used by Chelsea fans to pejoratively describe Rafael Benitez during his temporary stint in charge between November 2012 and June 2013.

Mahrez now has 13 league goals this season, the same as Lukaku, and two behind team mate Jamie Vardy, who combined with Mahrez to earn the second penalty.

I am excited to return to Stamford Bridge, Hiddink was quoted as saying in a statement on Chelsea’s website.

Allardyce said: “I think we made it really easy for them, giving a goal away from a corner”.

Daniel Siverns, a 20-year-old student, said he feared another period of upheaval, similar to the appointment and dismissal of a string of coaches after Chelsea fired Mourinho for the first time in 2007 only to reappoint him in 2013. “You Let Us Down” and “The Three Rats – Hazard, Cesc and Costa”. “Although we can not respond to every communication we appreciate you taking the time to contact us with your thoughts, and we read and considered them all”.

When Russia failed to qualify for the following year’s World Cup, he may have regretted disappointing them.

Hiddink will become Chelsea’s new manager on a contract until the end of the season.

Anthony Martial pulled one back with a scrappy close-range effort but it was not good enough from a very poor Manchester United side who have now lost three on the bounce and not won in six games.

But Chelsea’s fans were far from happy, regularly chanting in support of the Portuguese, and not a single seated supporter could be spotted when they sang “Stand up for the Special One!”

“We could have easily gone under, we didn’t, we came back and started to create”. He’ll demand [high intensity] from everyone, and he’s a great manager as well.

“Please believe me when I say the decision was made for no reason other than to do what we believe is in the best interests of this club”, he added.

“I’ve had a while to look at it and I’m disappointed in the lack of consistency”, said Allardyce, of his first nine games in charge.
