One detonated when a bomb squad robot tried to disarm it.

In an interview on Fox News, Governor Andrew Cuomo of NY confirmed the man’s name.

No one has been charged yet with the explosion, and the investigation is now ongoing. The race was cancelled and no one was injured.

Law enforcement are now searching through an apartment in Elizabeth in connection to the New Jersey incidents.

The explosion Saturday night injured 29 people in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood.

Elizabeth Mayor Christian Bollwage said two men called police and reported seeing wires and a pipe coming out of a package they found in a trash can about 8:30 p.m. Both the detonated bomb, and a device found nearby, were shrapnel-filled pressure cookers, according to USA media.

The FBI said agents and investigators with the NYPD stopped a “vehicle of interest” Sunday night in Brooklyn in connection with the Chelsea bombing.

The FBI put out a wanted poster for a man they want to question in connection to Saturday’s Chelsea bombing – after taking a group of men in for questioning during a vehicle stop on the Belt Parkway Sunday night, according to reports and FBI officials.

On Saturday, a pipe bomb exploded in Seaside Park, forcing the cancellation of a military charity 5K run. The discovery of Tannerite may be important as authorities probe whether the three incidents are connected.

Neither of the New Jersey bombs caused any injuries, but one of the devices in Elizabeth did startle police when a bomb robot cut a wrong wire, causing the device to explode early Monday morning.

Sources said the Federal Bureau of Investigation suspected the men may have had a role in the bombing and were questioning them at the Federal Bureau of Investigation headquarters in Manhattan. The driver had just picked up three passengers and was driving along 23rd Street when the explosion occurred, shattering the car’s windows and leaving gaping holes in the rear passenger-side door.

It is “too early to say” if Rahami has ties to a terror network, de Blasio said.

Law enforcement officials told the Associated Press that at least 5 men were being questioned after the traffic stop. “I don’t know what they’re made of”.
