Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho: Jurgen Klopp one of Europe’s top managers

Thibaut Courtois and Branislav Ivanovic remain out, while Diego Costa and Pedro are doubts.

Right back Ivanovic is expected to be out for another week, while Courtois could be sidelined until Decemeber. The others are fine.

Amid reports of a dressing room mutiny against Mourinho from players unhappy with his stern man-management, the Blues have won only one of their last seven matches and Mourinho has cut an increasingly troubled and tetchy figure. If not I don’t take them to the hotel. But it’s more hard when you play very badly and lose, than playing well and losing. It’s more about the confidence.

As for Klopp, who is yet to register a win in the league, the match in London represents his first big test as Liverpool manager.

“Not optimistic, not pessimistic”, Mourinho said.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has warned his side not to underestimate a “wounded” Chelsea, insisting the Blues’ recent troubles will not make the clash any easier for the Reds.

“The better the opponent the more excited the world around us is”.

“As a manager, his work speaks (for itself)”.

“They (Liverpool) were a good team”. They are a good team. They are all great footballers and then their set-plays are good.

Key Player: Willian – The Brazilian has probably been Chelsea’s best player so far this season.

“Everything is the same”.

They have changed a few details obviously in their tactical approach…there is just a little bit of difference about the way they think about football.

Which manager will come out on top this weekend?

“They know what to do”.

Brazilian midfielder Ramires has signed an extension with Chelsea football club that will keep him at Stamford Bridge through 2019. Jose Mourhino’s side went out of the league cup midweek against Stoke on penalties after completely dominating the game but failing to take their chances. While a win over Villa, draws against Kiev and Stoke and a loss to West Ham might not look inspiring, the performances (except the West Ham game) have been a step up from their previous horror-shows.
