Chelsea character delights Conte after comeback success
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants the club to sign a new defender after highlighting that the Blues squad is short of options at the back.

Watford will be disappointed to have ended the game with nothing to show for their own display having matched Chelsea in a tiresome first half and taken the lead through a fantastic Capoue strike.
“It’s early. We have a good team, there are a lot of good teams in the Premier League and we will see at the end, but of course we want to be the champions”. “Then we played only 20 minutes as I wanted us to play, today we played good football for 70 minutes”.
“I think that my experience, as a former player, helps me in this situation”, he said.
FC’s Craig Burley says that the Chelsea players are behind manager Antonio Conte after coming from behind against Watford.
“The attitude is fantastic, even in training everyone wants to win games”, Hazard told Chelsea’s official website. After a bad season like past year, it’s not easy to start by winning lots of games and starting in a good way.
Conte was once again animated on the touchline as Chelsea staged their comeback following Etienne Capoue’s strike for Watford, with Batshuayi scoring from the bench and another substitute, Cesc Fabregas, playing Costa in behind for the victor.
Mazzarri went on to praise his team, which was unchanged from their 1-1 draw with Southampton, the previous weekend, commenting: “In this moment this is the team that is in top form and the team I think is ready to play”.
‘”Work always pays off”.
So far Mazzarri has started both matches with last season’s players, but new signings Roberto Pereyra, a £13m club-record capture from Juventus, and Isaac Success were paraded before the match and they and Younes Kaboul, who joined on Friday from Sunderland, could swing tight games such as this in Watford’s favour in future.
“It s important. We are working very hard and we will continue to”. We can hold our heads high. So, tonight, I’m not going to sleep very well. Both goals were from our mistakes.

“We did well but the small detail makes the difference in the big games against the big clubs”, he said.
