A new Monmouth University poll shows Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders leading Hillary Clinton 43 percent to 36 percent among likely Democratic voters in New Hampshire.
Joe Biden, who is considering whether to jump in the race, holds 13 percent, with 2 percent supporting Martin O’Malley and 1 percent each for Lincoln Chafee, Larry Lessig, and Jim Webb. A new national poll from Washington Post/ABC News released Monday, September 14 showing Clinton’s support and lead eroding to just above 40 percent, the first time she hot under 50 percent in that poll.
For their part, Hillary Clinton’s campaign has itself said it would not be attacking Sanders, who has made a point to avoid attacking her when prompted to do so.
Democratic voters in the state also have a more favorable view of Sanders than Clinton.

If Clinton hangs in and obtains the nomination, the opportunity for Republicans is manifest, assuming the GOP doesn’t nominate a candidate who gets off on insulting women.
