The Associated Press reported that at least 85 of 154 people from private interests who met or had telephone conversations scheduled with Clinton while she led the State Department donated to her family charity or pledged commitments to its global programs.
Clinton campaign spokesman Robby Mook told MSNBC on Wednesday that Clinton does not have a conflict of interest with charitable work, and pointed to her rival’s tangled business interests with Wall Street, China and Russian Federation.
North Carolina is going to be close, but if Hillary Clinton flips North Carolina back into the Democratic column, it will be a big step towards blocking any hope that Trump has of winning on Election Night.
Clinton said she doesn’t expect any more political distractions to arise from her use of a private server.
Hillary Clinton’s alleged quid pro quo with Clinton Foundation donors is starting to haunt her campaign and Donald Trump continues to flip-flop on major issues, as the two principal US Presidential candidates, neither of them much liked or trusted by a majority of American voters, stumble forward in their campaign to win the White House in November. The judge, who is presiding over a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the conservative Judicial Watch, ordered the State Department to expedite its review process and release any emails that are responsive to the group’s FOIA request. Throughout the process, he pleaded for help in messages routed to Clinton, and she ordered aides to find ways to assist him.
Trump’s name is listed on the Clinton Foundation’s website as having given between $100,001 and $250,000.

Trump, who also met Thursday in NY with members of a new Republican Party initiative meant to train young – and largely minority – volunteers, has been working to win over blacks and Latinos in light of his past inflammatory comments and has been claiming that the Democrats have taken minority voters’ support for granted. The Clinton lead can be found in the fact that Clinton is under performing less with non-white voters (-12 over Obama) than is underperforming with white voters (-15 over Romney). They know something is rotten in the State Department. Top Clinton policy adviser Jake Sullivan is also playing a prominent role, along with other senior campaign officials. Eight Blackstone executives also gave between $375,000 and $800,000 to the foundation. Blackstone officials did not make Schwarzman available for comment. The meeting occurred before an announcement about a State Department partnership with MAC AIDS to raise money to finance AIDS education and prevention.
