Chelsea Handler had close encounter with Bill Cosby
Comedian Bill Cosby arrives to a courthouse in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, on December 30, 2015, to face charges of aggravated indecent assault.

A prosecutor in Pennsylvania has charged Bill Cosby with the alleged drugging and sexual assault of a woman in 2004.
However, prosecutors say it’s unclear what Cosby gave Constand.
Bill Cosby has been charged with sexual assault more than a decade after a former Temple University employee told police the comedian drugged and violated her at his home near Philadelphia.
The newly elected Montgomery County, Pa., district attorney who filed the charges, Kevin Steele, won in November after vowing to take on the Cosby accusations his opponent had passed on a decade ago. “What we have is the fulfillment of a campaign promise from a prosecutor who used this case and used the current climate about the allegations against my client in order to get into office and had to make good before the statute of limitations completely ran out on what he promised in order to get in that office”.
“The charge by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office came as no surprise”, she released in a statement.
10 Maximum sentence if convicted for criminal charges against Cosby, in years.
Cosby has denied all the allegations against him, and his lawyer called the criminal charge unjustified.
Cosby is free on $1 million bail pending trial.
The defence could use Steele’s campaigning against Castor to its advantage, Slotnick said. Constand sued Cosby in civil court and settled a year later with the results, including a three-day deposition of Cosby, sealed. “Rather, reopening this case was our duty as law enforcement officers”, said Steele, who is the top deputy in the DA’s office and will take over next week. But police in Los Angeles have been investigating more recent allegations by another accuser, Chloe Goins, who says Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion in 2008, when she was 18. Her “knees began to shake, her limbs felt immobile… and she began to feel only barely conscious”, her attorneys wrote in a 2005 civil court filing.
Her position suggests there will indeed be a trial of Cosby in 2016, in what would be the first sensational celebrity criminal trial of the Twitter age.
The case was investigated in 2005 but prosecutors did not bring charges.
She added, “There’s nothing in that deposition where Mr. Cosby admits to committing any crime”.
In a defamation lawsuit against one of his accusers earlier this month, Cosby said he has been legally and functionally blind for a year because of a degenerative eye condition that he has suffered for years, reports said.
“He’s really not a politician”, she said.

Cosby told Constand’s mother that he gave Constand a prescription medication but told police he gave her only Benadryl, which is sold over the counter, according to the affidavit. He said he fondled Constand, taking her silence as a green light.
