The series will bow May 11 and run as half-hour episodes released Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Each episode will be just 30 minutes, and they won’t have any commercials to interrupt the over-opinionated fun.

Handler officially teamed up with Netflix in 2014, reaching a deal that includes a stand-up special, a four-part docuseries (the previously released Chelsea Does), and a talk show.

– You wanted a new show, you got it. You wanted to be on Netflix, you are, You wanted to spread your wings, now FLY, BITCH.

In the note, Handler emphasizes that the show will feature field reporting and interviews with public figures. The television personality joked her dream guest list is Michelle Obama, Pope Francis and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s maid. Handler has called for show suggestions on Twitter. However, the final line of the letter indicates politics will play some role: “P.S.: It’s an election year”. She appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden to share some of her thoughts on her love life and rumors that have been circulating. The former host of “Chelsea Lately” issued a handwritten letter that acted as a press release on her social media accounts.
