Chelsea interested in surprise move for Javier Hernandez

Since joining German giants Bayer Leverkusen, the 27-year old has netted an impressive 12 times in 19 games for both club and country.

Over the course of the summer, the Mexican striker made it clear that he did not wish to remain on the Old Trafford bench and he would rather move to a club where he would be guaranteed a starting spot.

Willian is one of the few members of the squad who has not let down manager Jose Mourinho in recent weeks, and his goals and performances have kept the team’s head above water at times.

Its not just the Bundesliga that Hernandez is lighting up, as he is leading Leverkusen’s charge in the Champions League group stages with four goals, just one behind Cristiano Ronaldo and tied with Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller. They’ve dropped to 16th position in the league.

Mourinho is struggling to maintain face as his star scorers Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao are on a awful slump.

Despite a plethora of experience playing for the aforementioned Manchester United, as well as, Real Madrid, Chicharito, is still just 27-years-old and has plenty to offer a team like Chelsea.

Initially reported on by The Sunday People, the story claims that, with Chelsea having only managed to score 16 goals in 12 Premier League games this season, the Blues are desperate for goals and see Chicharito as the answer.

It’s no wonder why Chelsea has their eye on Chicharito who has scored 10 goals for Leverkusen this season, but might want to reconsider the amount they are willing to pay for the Mexican forward.
