Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas: I feel like a kid at Arsenal again

The Italian has yet to offer a Premier League start to Fabregas, and signs are he would have wait a bit longer.

The Foxes would take the lead early on, but Cesc Fabregas showed Chelsea manager Antonio Conte he still has something to offer as the Spaniard scored two quick goals to lead the Blues to victory.

“Two defeats in two big games”.

With Chelsea traveling to Arsenal on Saturday, Fabregas has been reminiscing about his 8 years at the Gunnners, and how he still holds them in the highest regard.

“All the players in my squad are a possibility to play against Arsenal, there are three days before the game and they have the opportunity to convince me to put them in”. In front of Kante will be Oscar and Nemanja Matic despite Cesc Fabregas putting in another good performance when given a chance by Conte, midweek.

“I hope to see Zouma in full training in the next week”, he said.

“I don’t know [when he will be back] because in this case, it’s important what the player feels and the pain he feels”, the Chelsea boss added. “It’s a very special place for me and that’s it”, he said according to the Evening Standard. “Hopefully, I will. I’m not going to deny that I want to play every single minute, this is what I work for”, Fabregas said. “I’m seeing him very focused, very concentrated, during the training sessions”.

The captain and central defender’s absence due to an ankle injury proved significant last Friday against Liverpool when they suffered their first defeat of the season.

I fancy a 1-1 draw and a rare Arsenal goal against Chelsea, which is 13/2.

“We must work on the defensive aspect because if you want a great championship you must not concede so many goals”.

“They showed the will to win – the will to go through to the next round”.
